Cheers, Charlotte! We’re bringing you Episode 13 of the Date Night with Jake and Page podcast, where you’ll hear from NoDa Brewing Company Founders and Owners, Todd and Suzie Ford!
[FAN BOY ALERT!!!]
As Page mentions in the podcast, when we debated moving to Charlotte back in 2014, the “Pros” list was: family, NoDa, jobs, Hop Drop, etc., etc. You get the point. We’ve been fans of the brewery for years, so it was only fitting that we bring on the couple behind what has become one of Charlotte’s and the industry’s leading craft beer brands.
Todd and Suzie talk about how both of their companies were acquired around the same time, which coincided with a growing buzz around Todd’s home brewing and tasting parties. They decided to make the proverbial leap to launch NoDa, and the rest is history. Now, they say, it’s about keeping up the demand and all of the latest and greatest trends in the industry, while also standing up against state legislation which is currently limiting the growth of N.C. brewers.
We can’t thank Todd and Suzie enough for joining us on this episode, and as always, big thanks to Garrett Tichy, Hygge and Richard Brooke for having us as a member of their inaugural Hygge Podcast Residency!
